Author Visit

Our students enjoyed a live performance of the original songs, poetry and storytelling of Darrell House on April 23rd, 24th, or 25th.  His CD’s, Underneath the Cushions on the Couch … “It reminded me a lot of Shel Silverstein.” - (Middletown Journal) and Makes Me Feel Like Singing …“the songs crackle with House’s infectious energy.” - (Booklist) delight children and families.   His picture book, Miller the Green Caterpillar is also receiving critical acclaim for its story, “…lyrical and uplifting”, and its beautiful illustrations, “…adorable, easily drawing in the littlest readers.”- (S. Florida Parenting Magazine).
